The test that she was there was taken on Christmas 2006. Just like any other mom I went for all my check-ups and just like all of those moms every thing was okay‚ Two days after my 23 week checkup, I woke up with my face the size of a balloon and my fingers resembling pork sausages. A visit to the gynecologist confirmed pre-eclampsia. Over the next 8 weeks I got hospitalized 3 times for dangerously high protein levels and very high blood pressure. On Friday the 13th of July, at my 31 week appointment, it was decided that we have to do a cesarean as my daughter would not live in-utro passed Monday.

On Saturday 14 July at 9:14am my little angel was born weighing a mere 1.48kg. She was snow white and didn't cry, but her agpar score went up from 3 to 6 and we thought all was okay. On Monday hubby and I went through to visit our star and our pediatrician asked us to go and wait as he needed a word with us.
